Admittedly, the general public is not really used to creating custom rules, but as the Avast firewall is generally well thought out, it is regrettable that it is not delivered here in its full version within the free edition. The latter is probably the most disappointing point, as Avast has skipped its advanced configuration features. For the rest, we find the technologies of the editor, and in particular its anti ransomware module, its tool for protecting sensitive files (invoices, IDs.) or an intelligent firewall. Experts may grit their teeth, but given Avast's traditionally non-techie audience, it's not such a bad idea. This new all-in-one solution is intended to be more 'mainstream' than the Avast Premium Security or Avast Ultimate suite, incorporating unlimited VPN functionality and an interface that is more focused on notifications and advice for the general public.
